COURSE DETAILS

Course Name : Renewable Energy Research Course

Research and innovation are critical for delivering the solutions and system transformations. The future of energy is sustainable and renewable. Renewable energy is one solution to our pollution problem. You can explore many things. Some are looking for ways to improve the efficiency of energy conversion. Some are working on the development of new materials to use in sustainable energy generation. This interdisciplinary approach is the best way to grow this new and exciting field.

Energy infrastructure, technology, and economics is another important subject. Modeling uncertainty in earth sciences, and fundamentals of renewable power are also taught. This is an important area of research for the development of renewable energy sources. Better semiconductors are essential to energy-efficient advanced technology. The purpose of this research study is to accelerate the development of semiconductors, Next Generation of Materials Design.

Also research with economics and policy. This is important because research matters little if it is not used.

In addition to original research studies -

.

encourages researchers to submit their review article which investigates avant-garde topics, determinates emerging and post emerging movements, and recommends future guidelines for developing subjects.

.

understanding and the utilization of renewable energy systems and resources.

.

Pro-active Identification of challenges, research problems/ topics and mobilisation of thematic proposals

.

exploring the possibilities for a renewable energy future and directing society to make these a reality.

Course Syllabus:

The content of the course may be subject to change. Curriculum content is provided as a guide. The course consists of four core modules:

.

Research Skills and Training
This module will begin by understanding the basics of research philosophies, research approaches and research methods. It also explores methods of data organisation and formal analysis, research ethics and project feasibility.

.

Confirming Research Project
This module will discuss research proposal ideas, students will be supported through tutorials and group critiques in defining and funnelling down their research topic by developing a draft literature review and research proposal.

Research Mentor

Principal : Dr. Abdul Moyez

Research Associate, IIT Roorkee
Ex. Senior Research AssociateSenior Research Associate
Centre for Nano and Material Sciences
PhD in Perovskite Solar Cell
University of Calcutta
M.Tech in Materials Science and Engineering

The Research Mentor is an important key to a successful trainee experience. Students value the opportunity to conduct research under the guidance of a faculty member or research mentor and the College values your contribution to undergraduate education by providing meaningful undergraduate research experiences that allow a student to engage deeply in their discipline and grow as scholars.

Dr. Abdul Moyez, Principal of Energy Materials Research Centre, provides participants with in-depth training support and further mentoring research work. We are grateful for his generous mentoring and for their rich contributions to the EMRC's vibrant research community.

Benefits Include

.

Mentoring by an experienced, published researcher who understands the clinical practice

.

Small group discussions to facilitate the development of a research proposal

.

Learning how to utilize research methods to document client/family progress in treatment

.

Receiving ongoing mentoring for initiation and completion of a study

We encourage undergraduate and graduate students to get involved in research. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are interested in learning more about research in aging. By working closely with faculty mentors, research assistants often find ways to apply what they have learned in the classroom to “hands on” research projects and interventions. For undergraduates interested in attending graduate school, this experience allows you to learn whether or not you like research, and is invaluable support for your graduate school application. Dr. Abdul Moyez
